Business Management

Managers in a global economy must simultaneously understand the total enterprise and comprehend the forces shaping the organization's direction, policies, and goals, while at the same time exercising personal leadership in managing the firm's human resources. The Management concentration offers a program that applies basic social science disciplines to management and leadership problems in the public and private sectors.

Accounting and Finance

The Accounting and Finance program offers courses in financial accounting, managerial and cost accounting, tax planning, income tax, and international accounting. It also offers an introduction to financial markets operations and the tools utilized by financial managers. Students planning to work in accounting and / or financial managers for corporations will find this major helpful.

Insurance

The Insurance  concentration examines the techniques that corporations, organizations, and individuals can use to minimize the potential financial losses arising from their exposure to risk. These techniques range from traditional insurance products to current advances in corporate and insurer risk management. Students graduating with this concentration can take positions with investment banks, re-insurers, accounting firms, insurance brokerage firms, consulting firms, insurance companies and corporate risk management departments.
