Free Electives
Matn U students of Lebanese Nationality must take a total of 7 electives beyond the major. Students with
a Foriegn Nationality must take a total of 15 electives beyond the major. Included in these are electives that
fulfill the General Requirement, Foreign Language Requirement and Quantitative Skills Requirement. The other electives
are "free" and provide students with an opportunity to explore new topics, broaden the domain of their
concentration or just to experiment. These free electives are often the most enjoyable courses, and those that
help make one a well-educated person.
Any course offered at Matn U may be counted as a free elective.
